Angles, Angles and more Angles!!!

Last night we faced a major headache with ceiling angles in our lobby through to the bedrooms. We had decided that the roof was going to dropped around 200mm to accomodate plumbing and our heat recovery & ventalation system, and so a line was "pinged" all the way around the lobby to mark the new line of the ceiling.
Our problem arose when we tried to get angles to marry up where our lobby bends. The 35 degree pitch of our roof had to incorporate a 22 degree angle on the opposing wall simply because of its position in the lie of the roof!
Bit of a rethink! We now will have to Make the end section of our roof flat to try and build as clean a line as possible!
The picture lets you see the angles we have had to deal with!
Tip: everything always seems quite easy in theory but it really is worth checking how one desicion affects other areas and if indeed it will work!

A Long day and not a lot done

Well as the title suggest, not a lot further on today! We did get a delivery today of the first batch of our welsh slates arrived from local company vGPH in inverurie. Some might say welsh is a bit on the expensive side, even me for that matter but to see them tonight in the sunshine, they really are a beautiful slate and worth the extra!
Had to jiggle around with scaffold tonight to set it up for battening our lobby, an since its steel scaffold it wasn't easy. took three of us around three hours to get it set up!
So my day has ended feelin like av wasted a day! Spose we all get that from time to time!

We have plumbing now...

The plumber came last night and started fitting out. We now pipework in our kitchen. Exciting times...
